Digital transformation in the oil and gas industry: Situation and prospects in Vietnam
Abstract
Digital transformation is the integration of digital technologies into the operations of businesses and organisations to fundamentally change the way they operate and their business models and deliver new values to customers. Digital transformation, therefore, requires advanced management platform, and management transformation in parallel with digital transformation.
The article analyses the digital transformation model in E&P proposed by Deloitte (Deloitte's Digital Operations Transformation), the current status of digital management and digital transformation in customer relationships, and fundamental challenges in the digital transformation process; and proposes digital transformation solutions for Vietnam's oil and gas industry.
